My name is Machelle Johnson Wright. I am a 33 year old financially deprived stay at home mom. For the last 10 years I have taken my life and the life of my family way to seriously. This website is dedicated to the search for my lighter side, both mentally and physically. I have a big heart and even bigger butt that I don’t focus on too much as my mom did raise me to have a healthy self esteem. She should follow her own advice.

I have my mom to thank for my first encounter with the creature from the great beyond, better known as my husband. We were introduced after she rejected his plea for a date. We shared a not so romantic dinner at his favorite diner, unknown to me at the time to be a hot spot for all his first dates. We have been happily miserable together since.

I have 4 wonderfully exhausting children that live in my home and came from my womb and 4 that were created before my marriage was. My 14 year old daughter is plotting her 2^nd great escape and counting down the minutes until she is 18 and can move as far away from home as possible. I have a 7 year old son who honestly believes he knows everything and no matter your size, shape, or age he will let you know it. (Yep, this little dude is going to get his butt kick more than once at school.) About a year ago my 5 year old son was diagnosed with autism which helped justify the constant state of chaos we abide by and the fact that guests feel like prisoners in our home with the dead bolt, chain lock and couch against the door program we implemented to confine him to the inside of our home for his safety and our sanity. And finally my baby girl of 3 years in age feels constant lack of attention and has mastered the art of turning heads not only because of her good looks but because she can clearly swear better that any drunk in a bar brawl hands down.

I graduated from high school with the sole intent on getting out of my mom’s house only to become pregnant months later and return to her loving embrace. I did become very productive at one point and attended some post college falling a few credits short of obtaining my degree to become one hell of a secretary or office administration as the school would prefer I phrase it. I reside in the great state of Utah. We have many unique amenities here like the smell of rotting brine shrimp, the largest food storage system in the entire world, some the highest gas prices in the nation and the Mormon religion which I spent many years disowning but have begun to understand, appreciate and respect.
