A few years back my mother in-law made us this beautiful cross stitch picture. It was a gift for Christmas and she framed it to hang on our wall. Now my mother in-law is one of those “old school” stern women who doesn’t really show a lot of emotion and with her loose tongue can be hard to swallow at times. Here is what the cross stitch picture said:

Lord, help my words be sweet today…..

I may have to eat them tomorrow!

Yes, I could have taken that sincere quote in so many different ways, especially coming from her. But I know what a caring and loving woman she is and I appreciate all she has done for my family so I took it as a simple lesson for life.

This lesson for life is day 4 of my 7 days of inspiration. This is a simple one for us yet so few seem to do it. For me I think it requires me to socialize and I struggle with that. For most I think it’s just a matter of taking a few extra seconds out of your day. With our busy lives we focus what needs to be done instead of what we can be doing.

Day 4 Inspiration

Never Underestimate The Power Of A Kind Word

To all my readers, Thank You for supporting and believing in me! It’s people like you that make this world a better place. I appreciate you visits and I wish you the best of success in all you do.
